Chris Flickinger
President - Chris Flickinger is from Great Falls, VA. Many of Chris' family are members of the construction industry, so Chris grew up with a respect and desire to learn the trade. Construction has been a lifelong passion of Chris's as evidenced by his lifetime working in the field. As soon as he was old enough, Chris worked construction during his younger years working for his dad and earned his degree from East Carolina University in 2003. After college, Chris worked for an award-winning FORTUNE 500 company and is the nation's leading public builder of luxury homes for 16 years in various roles and as recently as a Director where he built or managed construction of over 3,000 homes during his career.
During his time in this position, he was responsible for building new communities, National Award winning model homes, and thousands of homes for happy customers. He directed a Purchasing team and developed relationships with manufacturers, architectural firms, designers and regional vendors that he is able to coordinate together to deliver the customer the total experience. He managed a 10,000 square foot Design Studio where customers could interact and customize their homes with colors and finishes of name brand products to their liking.
Chris is the first team member a potential client meets. His friendly and professional personality makes Chris easy to work with and a great resource for clients every step of the way. Because Chris has been inside thousands of homes, he is the go-to expert when it comes to existing conditions and renovation planning. Chris oversees the pre-construction phase for all projects including design management and the material selection process. Additionally, business development including all advertising, social media, lead services, and client performance reviews are in Chris's purview. Chris is dedicated to continuing the reputation of excellence that The Flickinger Group has demonstrated to its clients and communities.
